Low Voltage Chime

I recently purchased a condo which had a doorbell on a 120v line. It was a pain getting the transformer installed in the wall but we somehow found a way to get it done. The old chime is obviously not functional any more because it was hooked up to the 120v line. I want to buy a low voltage chime and wanted to know if I can wire it to the same transformer that the Ring is connected to or is there a way to connect Ring with a low volt chime inside the house.

I realize your post is almost 1 year old but I came up with a solution to a problem similar to yours. I needed a low voltage version of the Ring Chime… which they do not offer. Do a search for “Successful conversion of Ring Chime 2”
