I have a two keypad alarm setup. The first keypad installed fine. The second would not connect to the base station. I chatted with the support group who eventually had me disconnect keypad 1 as a diagnostic measure. At that point neither would connect. Life got in the way, but a few days later I discovered a trick that made them connect! I even disconnected one again and reconnected it to be sure I had a solid method. Just follow the instructions to connect the keypad but after the code is in and power plugged in and the “Listening for device…” message is displayed and the ring lights are twirling around, press and hold the “1” button until the ring starts to blink as a complete circle. A few seconds later, everything was connected. Maybe that’s in the instructions and I missed it, but if not, you might try this if you’re having a problem.
