Interior Motion option to do entry delay instead of immediate trigger with scheduler

With 4 adults living in the house we run motion detectors downstairs that cover all main rooms and the stairs. If one of the adult children wakes up early and forgets to disable away mode before going down the stairs it sets off alarm immediately instead of giving a short warning to allow time to disable before the alarm triggers.

That’s why it is advisable to use Motion detectors when there’s no one, human or beast, in the house when the alarm is on.
In my house it only took 1 false alarm for them to remember not to open windows when the alarm is on.

Hi @Gainer. Have you tried adjusting the Placement setting on your Motion Detector? In the Ring app under Devices > Alarm Base Station > Motion Detector > Device Settings > Placement, set the Motion Detector’s Placement as Entryway so that it has the Entry Delay applied to it. I hope this information helps!
