With 4 adults living in the house we run motion detectors downstairs that cover all main rooms and the stairs. If one of the adult children wakes up early and forgets to disable away mode before going down the stairs it sets off alarm immediately instead of giving a short warning to allow time to disable before the alarm triggers.
Hi @Gainer. Have you tried adjusting the Placement setting on your Motion Detector? In the Ring app under Devices > Alarm Base Station > Motion Detector > Device Settings > Placement, set the Motion Detector’s Placement as Entryway so that it has the Entry Delay applied to it.
