I purchased the Ring Security System last year when it was on sale, and because it was bundled with an indoor camera.
When setting everting up all was fine. I’ve only recently set up the indoor cam, say in the last 4 weeks as I was unsure where to place it. It worked during the initial setup so all was fine.
After checking it yesterday I’ve only just realised it has not been working. Strangely, it has a log of all motion events but as not been recording video, and nor will it perform the live view function. When accessing the live view, the blue light comes on as if performing the function, but never connects, and the blue light then never switches off.
Having looked through the community pages here I have ticked all boxes to try and eliminate the issue. I have factory reset the cam, I have moved it’s position in the house, I have ensured my connection is strong enough, I have replaced it in position of an existing indoor camera, but nothing works. The same issue occurs. The camera will switch on, complete it’s set up, connect to wifi and as soon as it detects motion or try to use live view stops working.
