Incorrect ring message

I am the only user of my ring doorbell - recently it seems to have mixed up answered/unanswered alarms when the door bell is rung - whether I look on my phone or not - it’s quite a recent thing and had always worked correctly in the past - interested to know why?

It is possible that you may have linked devices in the Ring app that are triggering one another to activate. Check out our linked devices Help Center article to see if this applies to you.

This could also be due to an integration, such as an Alexa routine. Please also ensure there is not a VPN enabled on your mobile device. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
