My contact sensor has gone offline for a long time. I put in a new battery but it’s still not online. How do I fix this issue?
Hi @charlieLauj! If replacing the battery did not result in an auto reconnection, it is possible a new setup will need to be performed on the Sensor. It is likely that this sensor shows up in your Alarm device list in the Ring app. If this is so, please visit this Contact Sensor page in the Ring app, and select the settings cog in the top right corner. Here you will see the device profile and configuration options. Please select Advanced Options, then select Remove Device and follow the Ring app prompts. Removing the Sensor should allow you to perform a new setup of the Sensor, resulting in successful connection, configuration, and operation. I hope this helps!
