Works absolutely fine on my LG C9 55" OLED. Just signed into the Alexa app on the TV, held down the Amazon button and ask to show the (insert name) camera and it appears, filling the screen. The only thing I’ve found is that after approx 30 secs it flicks back to whatever HDMI you’d been watching previously. I can’t keep it on the screen as a large monitor

Thanks for posting! been looking for this info for ages, To add you also need to register/link your ring account with the alexa app via your phone & then add the ring camera as a device,

Had a new shiny LG tv delivered today, it has the alexa app built in and the remote has the microphone.

I have an echo show and when i say “alexa show me the doorbell” the echo show displays the feed from the ring doorbell

When i do the same on the LG tv, I just get a black screen, but do hear the audio of the ring doorbell, just no picutre.

Any thoughts ?

I have the same issue Alan, did you get a response or find a fix on the issue?

It’s a terrible state, I have a fire (a Amazon product) that I had to create a Alexa routine via a virtual switch in home assistant for Alexa to show me the front door auto on tablet that’s wall mounted, the same way is used for the lg by me uising a ok Google command from home assistant rather than Alexa lol

It took me a long time but I think I did figure it out. If you have one of the newer LG TVs with the Alexa built-in. You have to use the LG TV remote Alexa button and talk through it to request to see your ring camera. Trying to do it through a echo device will not work. It works fine through the TV remote Alexa. Hope that helps some people, this is frustrating

Hey neighbors! You can use Alexa commands to see the Live View from your Ring Security Cameras or Video Doorbells on your Alexa-enabled Fire TV. If you do not have a Fire TV and instead have a different brand of smart TV, this may not work as it is not an Alexa-enabled Fire TV and is not officially supported. You can find more information on using Fire TV with Alexa in our Help Center Article here, and more information Ring and Alexa here.

I realize a solution has been chosen for this. I added my LG TV as an Alexa device and then wrote a routine to display the Ring doorbell 9n the TV by using the doorbell press as a trigger and the voice command as the action for showing the doorbell camera.
