Help/Suggestion installing door bell pro

Hi

So I want to buy and install the ring door bell pro for my house.
The problem is that the existing door bell was installed in the corner, between the door and brick wall. See below image.

Few issues comes to mind;
Can the conner rubber area support the weight of the door bell?
If I do install it there, there will be a small gap on top and bottom. Water, dust etc will go inside of it. might need to seal the top with something.

If anyone has some suggestions or had a similar issue please share.

Hello Shan0,
Even if you manage to mount the Ring Doorbel Pro in that corner, the view will be restricted as it has a field of view of 160 degrees and the blocks come in the way. Your best option then is to go for the Ring Door View Cam. Easy to install into your existing peephole.
