Have New Phone and cannot add cameras or chimes

I have a new phone and my original RING account was set up on old phone. On the new phone I have downloaded the Ring app (android) and successfully logged into my account. However, I cannot add any devices either by scanning or wifi method due to the error of “This Device is still registered to its owner”

That owner is me, using same accout. How do I fix this?


Hey @toddhayes29. You will have to remove the devices from your old location/account first in order to set them up on a new location. If you have logged into your Ring account and have no changed or moved locations, once you log in with your email address and password, it should have your devices automatically there. If you are unable to get this sorted out, you will need to reach out to our support team here for device ownership concerns.
