Hey I’m new to Ring doorbells and have a question. So, I bought a 2nd generation, the $99.99 model. I’m understanding that you don’t need the jumper wire in your inside doorbell chime to be hard wired? Just hook the two outside wires up to the unit? No other wiring needed? Sorry if this has been covered before. I’ve been reading the other posts and couldn’t get a clear answer. Thanks
Hi @CCROHL. The Ring Video Doorbell Generation 2 (2020 Release) does not come with a Jumper Cable. You simply follow the prompts in the app to set up your doorbell. The wires connect directly to your Doorbell and you select the power source in the Ring app.
