I’m thinking hard about purchasing a Ring Glass Break Sensor for my Ring Alarm as I have a large glass conservatory on the side of my house with some sizeable panes of glass in them.
Last week, one of the panes broke. I was there when it went. The noise was unusual, not a sound I would associate with breaking glass.
My question is; has anyone with a Glass Break Sensor had first-hand experience of the breaking of a large double-glazed argon filled unit that sounds more of a dull thud than an actual glass break? Did the sensor correctly identify it and sound the alarm?
