My base station is switching to cellular MANY times a day. Sometimes for hours. My wifi and internet are up and running fine when this happens as all other devices in the house are working fine. My ring doorbell which is about 18-24 inches from the base station always reports good wifi connection when this occurs. Is this a hardware problem with the base station? What troubleshooting steps can I take?

I recommend checking your security and firewall settings on your router to make sure that there isn’t anything blocking the Alarm Base Station from being reconnected and staying connected. In addition, you can also try an Ethernet connection for your Base Station in order to have no lapses.
