I bought a floodlight pro cam during the holidays and finally installed it 2 weeks ago. It worked just as expected for the first week, but now the preview image is always scrambled. It still records fine and clear but I’m still concerned about it.
Is my device defective?
Does it need an update I can’t find?
I already reset routers and the bridge, I’m not sure what else to do.
Hi @Sugar. Based on the screenshot, it looks like this is happening on the Ring website. Have you tried checking the Ring App to see if this is happening to the preview on there as well? If it’s happening to the preview on the Ring App as well, I would first recommend checking that the Ring App and the OS on your smartphone or tablet is fully updated. Then you can try resetting your Floodlight Cam by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After the reset is done, set the Cam back up in the Ring App with the steps under Set Up a Device. Let me know if that resolves this scrambled preview image.
