Flood light cam

I set the timer on my lights for 3 minutes and it’s staying on for much longer. And the “activating device “ has been spinning for 15 minutes.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Hey @Sparky1953. I recommend to see if this is an app concern first. For this, please delete the Ring app from your phone, reboot your phone (turn it off/on), and then reinstall the Ring app. Once you do this, see if the lights timer works as it should after re-setting that up, along with the Live View.

If this does not help, it seems as if your device is not getting a stable enough connection to communicate from your app’s preferences and activity to the camera itself. The middle man in this is the router, which you could reboot and see if that addresses your concern. Although, it may be best to also look at the device health page and the RSSI.
