Flood and freeze sensor action point

info states below 40 deg clearly – i couldn’t find any statement of how much water it takes to set off the flood sensor – looking to put it in the basement – in the vicinity of well pump inlet and culligan water softener system – if the floor just gets wet ? 1/32" depth ? 1/8" ?

Hi @lking65. The Flood and Freeze sensor has contact points on the bottom of the sensor. Once water is introduced to these contact points, it will notify you. To learn more about the Flood and Freeze sensor, check out this Help Center article here.
