Feedback sound

Howdy!
My camera had a constant feedback sound; please check the link before.
According to one of the Advanced technical support representatives, it’s rare but common. Did any of you have any similar experiences?

The camera woke up on Sunday morning, my neighbors. I’m considering replacing it with another brand. It took me 45 minutes to navigate customer support to have a technical agent.

BTW: I read the generic “Help center article,” which didn’t help. It seems like, after a post, the system auto-generates a generic message “this help center article here has some great tips…”

I will appreciate any real human feedback.

This does sound odd, and quite loud in the video. As you mentioned working with advanced support already, you’ve likely completed the best steps for this. Resetting the Camera by holding its setup button for 20 seconds, or power cycling by unplugging and plugging back in to power, are some great steps to try. Please ensure there are not any utilities or electronics nearby the Camera on either side of the wall.

I recommend also testing different event types (lights, motion, live view, etc) to see if there is something specific causing this concern. If this concern persists, and nothing looks to be resolving it, our advanced support team will be happy to take a closer look at it. :slight_smile:
