I’ve been having a lot of trouble with this doorbell. I changed the transformer to a 16v 30ac and that worked until a few weeks ago.
It disconnected from wifi and wasn’t able to connect it.
Replaced the transformer to a 24v 40ac and that didn’t work. Couldn’t get it to broadcast wifi.
I went ahead and purchased a plug ac adapter and that didn’t work either. So it’s not lack of power or wifi. My google nest is about 8ft from it.
Here’s what Ive noticed overall. The orange button responds to hard resetting but does not respond to entering set up mode. It’s not broadcasting wifi for me to set up. Please help!
