Doorbell 2 - not wired - possible to keep blue ring on ??

First day with this device. Currently unmounted sitting on the table.

Is it possible to keep the ‘button’ lighted. I’m wondering how anyone would even see it at night or know that it was a button to be pushed.

Answer to self. On battery power it appears the button LED is lighted only when depressed or being charged. If wired the LED will show a white ring while dormant.
