I think it may be flex cable (though it was not touched since install)

I need to buy the spare parts kit and it’s no longer available in the site! Help!

Sorry to hear about this, @CarmenB! The Peephole Camera should certainly be connecting to wifi or showing lights, as long as the battery is charged. If you’ve already charged the battery fully and reinserted it into the Peephole Cam to no avail, try a reset by holding the setup button on the Camera for 20 seconds.
