door bell 2 and android 4.4.2 / 4.1

I have one phone running android 4.4.2 and a tablet with 4.1.2

I tried to install respective versions of ring apk and log in.

In both cases, it sends a authentication code to my email account but on the phone and tablet, there is no place to enter the code. The screen on both keep showing the login id and password and then below that it says reset password.

ANy help, how to install and use reng app on these old android devices?

Sadly, you need the following to use an Android device.

What version of iPhone, iPad, or Android will I need for the mobile version of the App?

Apple devices must be iOS 9.3 or newer. Android devices must be version 5.0 or newer.

So, 5.0 or newer.
