My ring doorbell is failing to pick up anyone until up to an hour after the event. Example, doorbell will ring, doesn’t get picked up on the app until at least 20 minutes after the event? Exact same thing happening with picking up motion events. Anyone else has this issue?
Hi @Anjanette. Typically when we’re experience delays in notifications, it can be related to our network. There are some tests we can perform to narrow down the root cause of this issue. First, see if you get the same delay with your device when you’re using cell data or just on wifi. Next, you can try rebooting your internet router by unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in. Once your wifi is restored, test out your notifications to see if they come in any faster.
