I purchased a ring chime to work with my ring doorbell pro. setup went fine and test sounds work from the phone app, but the chime won’t ring when doorbell is depressed. how do i fix this? Could be something with the hardwired doorbell that the ring pro used to activate??
Hi @user23114. You want to make sure you have linked your Chime Pro to your Doorbell Pro. Follow these to make sure you have done so:
- Launch the Ring app.
- Select the menu button (three lines, top left).
- Tap Devices
- Choose your Chime Pro.
- Select Audio Settings.
- Tap Chime Alerts
- Turn on the bell symbol and hit Save on the top right.
You can also power cycle your Chime Pro by unplugging it for a minute and plugging it back in.
