Hi @PaulBennett. As long you have the Ring Protect Pro Plan, Cellular Backup should only activate if your Ring Alarm Base Station is disconnected from your wifi network. If your Base Station did not go into Cellular Backup after disconnecting from your wifi, please review this Community post here for more information where others were experiencing the same concern.
