Can't talk two-way between my Ring Doorbell and Alexa Echo Dot

At some point (not sure when, as we just noticed it) our Alexa Echo Dots can no longer answer our Ring Doorbells. When we say “Alexa, answer the Back Door” or “Alexa, talk to the Back Door” it says “Your Alexa enabled device does not currently support that.” How do we re-enable this? I have removed the Ring skill from my Alexa app as well as removed the camera devices, re-enabled the Ring skill. re-added my cameras, linked accounts again, and still it does the same thing. No two-way communication! Frustrating!
