Cant set up Ring device on authorized user account

I have our Ring account and doorbell device set up in my name and on my phone. I authorized my husband to be a user aswell but I cant not set up the device under his name. He has the app and he went through the process of creating an account. But when we try to set up our doorbell on his app is says it already has an existing user. I also made sure that under the device his name is checked to be able to view it. Not sure what else to try.

The user you are adding needs to log into the Ring App and if they’ve accepted the Invite then they shouldn’t have to do anything else. Your error is you don’t add the doorbell to their app if its already on yours.
