Cant retrieve ring motions in the past

what does it mean when it says there was an error downloading the recording and to try again later…

Hi @t2021. You need to have a valid Ring Protect plan subscription active in order to be able to view past recordings. It’s also important to note that the plan needs to be active at the time an event is recorded or it will not be available to view. I hope that information helps.
