Can't reconnect Ring 1 Doorbell to new DSL modem

I’ve got a Ring 1 doorbell that I’ve had for years. My DSL modem recently crapped out so I got a new one. I can’t get my doorbell connected to the new modem. When I go through the connection process it takes forever and then it tells me that my phone isn’t connected to wifi, but it is connected. So what do I do now? I do have a Ring Chime too, is that part of my issue?

Hi @WapsiRat. What kind of phone are you using for setup? You may need to adjust some settings to be able to get this to connect. Turning off the WiFi Assist (iPhone) or Smart Network Switch (Android) should do the trick. If not, you can always try to connect using a tablet. Let me know if this helps!
