Self-monitoring options are inadequate. Need option to have pre-selected phone called when alarms are triggered. Currently the options are available to get push and/or email notifications when alarms are triggered - so when my house is on fire, Ring app will send me push notice and/or an email?!?!? Other self monitoring systems are able to call your phone with a standard response when alarms are triggered/sounding. Ring should too.
I have the same question. In last 3 months I had 2 false alarma (made by myself mistakenly) and I did not recevie a call from Ring team. I remember when I was enroling into monitoring system, I supposed to recevie a call in case of alarm trigger, but I did not. If I only want to get push notification, what’s the point of paying monthly subscription fee?
