I am currently the shared user on my ring doorbell, my husband being the owner. He has moved out and i want to become the owner. The account is linked to my email, i pay the fees. Changed the password and all. But i cannot switch to owner. Asking him to do anything is not going to happen so Im on my own… any suggestions?
Hey @Shernandez. To become the owner of a device, the first owner needs to remove the device from their account first. You will need your husband to go into the Ring app for their account, remove the Doorbell, which will then allow you to set it up in your app. Once you have set it up in your app, you will be the owner of the device!
