Audio on live view through ear piece

Hi guys, I recently bought a doorbell 3 chime pro and chime. All working and installed fine other than the audio issue im having.

Whenever i live view or try to speak to someone the audio comes through my phones ear piece and not the speaker.

This means the only way to hear is to hold the phone to my ear. I have tried disabling Bluetooth ect but nothing seems to work.

Is there away to make the app default to the speaker when in use?

I am using a Samsung galaxy z flip.

Hi @LuM. The audio should be coming from the speaker on your phone when you’re enabling Live View. I would recommend uninstalling the Ring App, restarting your phone to clear the cache, and reinstalling the Ring App. After that’s done, test out the two-way audio and let me know if it is working properly for you now. :slight_smile:


I have tried your suggested fix and it still comes through the speaker
