Great question, @WhiteKnight! As described further in our Community post about the Doorbell Wired, it can be powered using existing wiring from your chime kit. If you do not have an existing chime kit, our Plug-In Adapter is a great alternative for power, and is indeed sold separately. I hope this helps!
