Activating error message

I have been using my ring camera for days now with no issues. Today I got a notification of motion, I went to click on it and it says it’s activating with a spinning circle. Then it says it can not connect.

Hi @Chastity61! Video streaming errors are often related to connection variables such as wifi signal strength. Check out our Community post about your Ring device and RSSI for tips on optimizing wifi connection.

If your wifi looks sufficient, the next best thing to check is the mobile device connection. Please test video with your mobile device connected to wifi only, then again on cell data only to see if one connection is more reliable. Please also ensure bluetooth and VPN is disabled, and other apps running in the background are closed. I hope this helps! :slight_smile:
