10% discount

I have a ring doorbell and just purchased/installed a ring floodlight yesterday. I have the basic plan on the doorbell but would like to upgrade to the protect plus. Once I upgrade, am I immediately able to use a 10% discount code for a purchase at ring.com? I want to purchase a spotlight cam with solar. Thanks

Yepp- you should be able to immediately use that 10% discount. Be sure to log in to your Ring Account before purchasing and it should apply :slight_smile:

I’ve signed up to protect plus but am still on the trial . I want to buy some accessories and have logged in to reset the account but the discount isn’t applying ., how do I get this ?

Hi there, @Barb3! It sounds like you are doing this correctly. Please double check that the item you are wanting to purchase is not already on sale.

Here are some additional policies about using discounts, from our Protect Plus help center article:

  • You must have a paid Ring Protect Plus Plan at the time of purchase.
  • Free trials are eligible for a 10% discount.
  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Ring Protect Plus Plan 10% discounts cannot be combined with other offers (e.g. Cyber Monday, Black Friday, military, teacher, first responder and Amazon Prime Day promotions).
  • Discounts are non-transferable.
  • Discounts do not apply to Ring Assist +, third-party devices sold on Ring.com, or non-Ring products.
  • You must be logged into your Ring.com account during checkout to use the discount.
  • You can log into Ring.com via computer, laptop or mobile device using the same log in information that you use to log into the Ring app.
  • You cannot subscribe to the plan and use the 10% discount in the same transaction.
    • Discounts apply upon the next login session from purchase.
    • To use the discount immediately, log out of your account and log back in.

This is broken for me too. It used to work. It no longer adds the discount code.
I go to the Ring site and get bounced to eu.ring.com. I sign in. Click link to the shop at the top. Add stuff. Go to checkout. No discount
When I go back to Ring dot com (and get bounced to eu.ring.com again), the Login button is still there as if I’m not logged in.
This used to work fine in the past

online chat says no 10% until you have a device

@MattPKC If you can wait, Amazon Prime Day is coming up soon and Amazon owned devices like Ring items usually go on deep discount. Plus, Amazon is great with any problems. Easy returns with free return shipping labels. Some folks here have reported long delays with refunds for items bought directly from Ring and returned to them.
