Floodlight Cam Pro night vison range

One of my lightbulbs died on my hardwired Floodlight Cam from a few years ago. Since it was out of warranty, I had to get a whole new unit. I went with the hardwired Floodflight cam pro. I'm noticing the range of the night vision is much less in my new camera. Is there a setting I'm missing or this is just how the new camera works?
