Can’t test Echo device siren?
troubleshooting

I have an Amazon Echo which I bought solely to be a second siren for my Ring Security system. I have everything set up properly in the Ring and Alexa apps, the Echo makes chirp sounds when the door or window sensors get opened, but I can’t get the Echo OR Ring Keypads to make any noise when I manually test the siren for my system.  Does ONLY the Ring Hub alarm go off when you manually test it? Or are all the linked and enabled devices(Alexa devices, cameras, etc) supposed to go off as well? I have no idea if this Echo is going to be heard in our bedroom when an actual alarm is going off. And I don’t want to cause an actual alarm to go off just to test the speaker, only to have professional monitoring call me.

Hi @user_664e20. Testing the siren manually in the Ring app will only have the Base Station go off. As we value our neighbors' feedback, we've created a Feature Request board. Feel free to add this and any future feature requests there. This will help us to organize and share your requests with our teams here, as well as allow other neighbors to comment and add interest, all in one place. Feel free to link that post you make in the Feature Request board here so other neighbors that come to this thread can easily find your feature!
